My ultimate vision for my Sirens painting series and book is two fold. In an attempt to spread the message of environmental awareness as far as possible, I've created a cross-over between two distinctly different groups. It's been my experience that there are people who attend art galleries on a regular basis and there are people who attend literary functions on a regular basis. I'm in the process of painting the studies seen on this web site at life size and produce a touring show. For the gallery audience, a show of art that is accompanied by a book. For the literary audience, a book launch that is accompanied by an art show. Ultimately, depending on the success of the book, a screen play and movie, which reinforces my central concept of affecting global attitudes towards sustainability through the use of popular culture. The sequel to the Sirens story is already in the works.
