Canada Post 2006 Team Canada Olympic stamps
A Graphic Designer in Vancouver selected Mark Heine to paint two commemorative stamps for the 2006 Canadian Olympic team. One stamp features Team Pursuit Speed Skating, the other featuring Skeleton. Between the two sports Canada won several gold and one bronze medal. Because the teams in these two sports were so successful Heine received requests from all over the globe to sign stamps and first day covers for collectors. Mark is prepared to sign any item you wish.

These two were the first stamps Heine painted. They were awarded the Prix Olympia bronze medal for the promotion of the Olympic spirit. The medal was presented to the stamps designer at a ceremony in Belgium, by Juan Antonio Samaranch.
