A favourite pastime for my daughters and I is to take stale bread down to the waterfront and feed the sea-gulls. On this particular day we’re down at Clover Point on the waterfront in Victoria B.C. Canada. Sarah, my youngest, is age 13. She’s having fun until an overly enthusiastic gull gets hold of her finger and draws a little blood. Next time gloves are mandatory. Bad, bad bird... you’re grounded. Mark Heine
