Schooner Martha (foreground) and schooner Zodiac pass each other in the late afternoon light during the annual "Schooner Cup", schooner race for 2012. This race is held each year during the annual Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival. Martha, a 68-foot schooner, was built in 1907 in San Francisco. Actor James Cagney owned her from 1934 to 1943. Zodiac, much larger at 160 feet, was launched in 1927 in East Boothbay, Maine. Mark Heine
