Post Office of Liechtenstein, 2014 stamp collection : "Collections in Liechtenstein" Saloon cars
The Post Office of Liechtenstein continues it's series "Collections in Liechtenstein" for a second year. This edition features vintage Saloon cars from the 1920's, 1930's and 1940's. The vehicles selected for this series were : 1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II, The 1929 "Pierce Arrow Type 133, 1935 Studebaker Big Six and the 1948 Jaguar Mark IV. All items are in uncirculated mint condition. Heine is willing to sign any item by request.
Of special significance Due to a printing error with the Rolls-Royce logo (see detail images below.) the original print run was withdrawn and the stamp was later reprinted and issued in the next catalog for November 2014 and explains the printing error (included). The two full sheets, colour post card and first day cover all feature the withdrawn stamp, missing the hyphen between Rolls and Royce. That's 35 copies of the mint condition mis-print stamp. This collection of the Rolls-Royce misprint stamps and other materials is unique worldwide.
