Back label writing...
This is Schooner Martha during the annual "Schooner Cup", schooner race for 2012. This race is held each year during the annual Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival. Martha, a 68-foot schooner, was launched in 1907 in San Francisco. Actor James Cagney owned her from 1934 to 1943. I was in an eight-foot inflatable during this race, taking photos and trying to not get run down. As you can see from this view, it was often close. Mark Heine |
