If you’ve seen the Disney movie Finding Nemo, you’ll understand the significance of this painting’s title. We’ve come to Clover Point on the waterfront in Victoria, B.C., Canada. It’s a popular spot for windsurfing, parasailing and seagull feeding. The wind is up, allowing the birds to hover in a surreal fashion, at eye level. One sign of food, and they swarm. Here, my daughter Sarah, at age 10, is under siege and making a break for the safety of our vehicle.
