This is the 160-foot schooner Zodiac, during the annual "Schooner Cup", schooner race for 2012. This race is held each year during the annual Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival. She was built by heirs of the Johnson and Johnson family and launched in 1924. Later, she worked as a pilot schooner in San Francisco, retiring in 1972 after 40 years of service. She was the last working pilot schooner in the United States. Mark Heine
