Canadian Artist and Author Mark Heine, perhaps the most prolific freelance stamp artist to date, has painted 44 different postage stamps for the countries of Canada, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein. With each commission he received a number of printed samples such as stamp sheets, first day covers, postcards, annuals, promotional material, catalogs, etc. Everything in this collection is in absolute mint, uncirculated condition. There are also some bonus items such as signed letters of correspondence, catalogs relating to the edition, newspaper articles and print samples of the actual working reference and other related items. Mark Heine is willing to sign any item by request.
This rare collection compiled from the artists own archives and presented from the point of view of artist Mark Heine represents a unique opportunity for any philatelist to acquire. Heine will sell the entire collection to a single Philatelist in the hope this one-of-a-kind collection can remain intact.
